2nd meeting 1

The CLAP project held its second in-person General Assembly on 28 April 2026 at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The meeting brought together project partners to review progress, exchange experiences from the training series, and discuss the next steps in developing the project’s core outputs.

The agenda opened with a presentation and discussion of the Toolkit for Children’s Participation in Local Affairs, led by Attila Lápossy (ELTE) and Katarzyna Hanas (UMCS). Partners also reflected on the experience of the training series, with contributions from Anna Boukydis (Hintalovon Child Rights Foundation) and Anna Hauser (Happy Kids Foundation).

A second session focused on the policy proposal for implementing the Toolkit, presented and discussed by István Hoffman (UMCS). Representatives of the participating municipalities (Municipality of Lublin, Municipality of the City of Budapest and Municipality of Ferencváros) also contributed to the discussion, helping to ensure the relevance and feasibility of the policy proposal across different local contexts.

In the afternoon, the consortium turned to dissemination and sustainability, with Balázs Kiss (ELTE) leading the presentation and discussion of the plan to support the project’s long-term impact and broader uptake.

The breaks offered a valuable space for informal exchange and lively networking among participants. By the close of the meeting, the partners had also agreed that the next General Assembly will be held in Budapest in October 2026.
