Conference presentations and expert events

At the first year CLAP researchers have presented the project at a number of international and national conferences and professional events, sharing early findings, methodological developments and policy-relevant insights with academic, institutional and civil society audiences.

IPSA (International Political Science Association) World Congress, Seoul (12–16 July 2025) — The team presented the project’s aims, concept and methodology, together with the first analytical findings on the three participating municipalities.

EGPA (European Group for Public Administration) Conference, Glasgow (26–29 August 2025) — The project’s further developed concept and methodology were presented, along with the first project results and reflections on inclusion and democratic education.

CEPSA (Central European Political Science Association) 29th Conference, Warsaw (18–19 September 2025) — The team presented and discussed the detailed project results, engaging with comparative research on
children’s participation and local governance.

Hungarian Child Rights Coalition Conference, Budapest (20 November 2025) — The presentation addressed the legal framework and implications of child participation in relation to children’s rights and fundamental rights.

EMLA Association Event on Municipal Participation, Budapest (28 January 2026) — CLAP’s Child Participation Toolkit and municipal policy models were introduced to local authorities and Hungarian municipalities.

ENPA (European Network for Public Administration) Inaugural Conference 2026, Bucharest (22–25 April 2026) — The project’s innovative approach was presented, receiving positive feedback on its methodological
and policy developments.
